Dr. Jane Maina is a registered Medical Doctor with the Kenya Medical and Practioners Board of Kenya since December 1986. She went on to get a Master’s degree in Anesthesia in 1992 from University of Nairobi. She served as a consultant anesthetist in the major private hospitals in Nairobi, namely The Nairobi Hospital, The Mater hospital, The Aga Khan Hospital and MP Shah as well as serving as a commonwealth Secretariat Expatriate to the Kingdom of Tonga in 1999.
In 2021 Dr. Jane Maina graduated successfully with a Masters in Clinical Psychology from USIU-Africa. She is passionate about the care and management of clinical disorders such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, addictions as well as psychological trauma with a special emphasis on adverse childhood trauma also known as ACE’s. As our in-house medical doctor consultant, Dr. Jane has proven to be a valuable asset in the management of clinical disorders that are associated with other chronic medical illnesses. As a professional she fully embodies the statement, “there is no health, without mental health”. Her skills and years of experience are an extremely valuable asset to our clients.
